2010 Campaign Chair

If we sit back and listen to all the messages we hear in a day, we could be overwhelmed – overwhelmed by the news in our community and our country.  We may also feel that as one person alone, there’s not much we can do to change or improve the situation.  However, I believe we have a choice…to continue to sit by and be overwhelmed or be involved in making our community a better place.

We can choose to be more than a listener. We can choose to Take Action. As we begin our 63rd year, United Way of Hall County continues to be a strong and vital presence that exists to unite people, organizations, and resources to improve lives in Hall County.

This year our goal is to Take Action. To not only know that United Way advances the common good but to be that common good.   Together we will make this a year where we look back and see the lasting results of positive change for generations to come.

I invite you to join me.  Take Action and be a part of the change.
YOU CAN GIVE. My wife, Amy and I, have given at the leadership level because our dollars help local agencies Take Action.

YOU CAN ADVOCATE. I don’t know about you all – but I advocate by wearing my LIVE UNITED
t-shirt when I’m cutting the grass or with my daughters at the park. Make it simple, wear your LIVE UNITED t-shirt when you’re out in the community.

YOU CAN VOLUNTEER.  My girls love to volunteer – United Way has made it easy for our whole family to do something purposeful and fun. This year, United Way of Hall County is starting a Volunteer Network to help you Take Action.

It is my honor to lead this community as the 2010 Campaign Chair. I will continue to share the message and lead you in ACTION.
