Information
Targeted to seniors but open to the public. Senior or not, if you answer the telephone, open your mail or respond to your front door, you may put yourself at risk of being a victim of a scam. However, knowledge is power. The best way to prevent fraud is to recognize it and stop it before any damage is done. Pursuit of seniors’ life savings is one of the fastest growing consumer fraud issues today. Every year, thousands of senior citizens fall prey to fraudulent practices that result in identity theft and monetary loss. The resulting stress can have devastating effects on their lives. This course will arm attendees with the information and knowledge needed to avoid becoming a victim.
